Time for another update from Dowsers Headquarters in snowy Danville, Vermont, where three inches of the white stuff fell in the now–famous Valentine’s Day blizzard.  Thanks to Danville chapter volunteers for help with digging out!

First of all, we are withdrawing the dowsing contest mentioned in the last update.  Turns out the company we leased the scale from had no record of it either!  So we’re off the hook for that $1000 unit—an even better resolution to our problem.

You have probably received a ballot from headquarters recently, in which you are being asked to ratify the bylaw changes voted upon by your Board of Trustees at their December meeting.  Thank you for taking the time to vote—and if you haven’t yet, please take the few minutes to do so.  Also, note that there is no number 16, so you can ignore that numbered item on the ballot itself.  And thank you for supplying the stamp to mail it back—you’re contributing to the financial health of your society.  We are grateful for the volunteers who helped fold, stuff and stamp this mailing.  It was a huge job and took the better part of two weeks.  This was a costly process for ASD, so please make it count by sending back your filled-in ballot!
